Jeddah Airports launched a campaign to familiarise departing Hajj pilgrims about shipping luggage and Zamzam containers through disclosure forms and documents.
It is also aimed at spreading awareness about tools and materials which are prohibited from being shipped.
The campaign, titled “Journey 45”, involves the participation of more than 50 governmental and operational agencies, and is to communicate important instructions and guidelines to facilitate the departure journey for the pilgrims through King Abdulaziz International Airport.
The campaign is done through various media outlets, social media platforms and outdoor advertisements, besides screen displays at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Authorities said as many as two million short text messages via mobile phones were sent to pilgrims already, starting on the third day of Eid Al-Adha.
The campaign messages are translated into five different languages – Arabic, English, Chinese, French, and Urdu – in order to reach the largest segment of the target audience.
The “Journey 45” awareness campaign is scheduled to extend for approximately a month, starting from Wednesday, June 19.
