J1 Beach is set to open in Dubai next week, according to Merex Investment.
The eagerly awaited leisure development has been dubbed an “urban riviera in Jumeirah” and will include 13 licensed venues, including internationally acclaimed restaurants.
First to arrive will be Gigi Rigolatto, which opens its doors on October 14/

Spanning 5,000sq m it offers Italian food and has picturesque terraces, a serene Mediterranean garden, private beach, and a pool.

Gigi Rigolatto will soon be joined by a series of new openings, each offering a unique culinary experience.
Coming soon to J1 Beach in Dubai
- African Queen: Since 1969, African Queen has enchanted the South of France with its unique fusion of French and African flavours. The Dubai venue will be helmed by Chef Thierry Paludetto and promises a fine dining experience
- Almayass by the Sea: Originally from Beirut, Almayass by the Sea brings its acclaimed Lebanese-Armenian fusion cuisine to J1 Beach. Chefs Mardeg Barsomian and Jad Abou Zeid have curated a menu with their signature dishes
- Bâoli Dubai: The jungle-inspired world of Bâoli Dubai is a sanctuary for contemporary East Asian cuisine at J1 Beach. The renowned brand has made a name in Miami and Cannes before opening in Dubai
- Chouchou: An elite beach house member’s club inspired by French culinary delights. While members enjoy access to a relaxing beach and pool lounge, living room, rooftop terrace, and signature Rosé pool, the public can also indulge in upscale French cuisine at the restaurant
- Gigi Rigolatto: The essence of Italian elegance on Dubai’s shores, including a sanctuary adorned with a lush garden, private pool, Bellini bar, kids’ circus, and concept store
- Gitano: Born in the tropical jungles of Mexico, Gitano has captivated diners in Tulum, Miami, and NYC, and now brings its spirit to J1 Beach. Gitano, meaning “gypsy” in Spanish
- INÁ: African-inspired open fire cooking will take centre stage at venue hoping to blend rich culinary heritage with modern flair,
- Kaimana Beach: Kaimana Beach, signifying ‘spirit of the ocean’ in Polynesian culture, invites guests to a 360° immersive dining experience at J1 Beach. It will serve a fusion of Asian and Polynesian flavours next to a private pool and beach
- La Baia by the Beach: Hailing from Manhattan, New York, La Baia by the Beach will bring the charm of the Amalfi Coast to J1 Beach
- Lúnico: Spanish-Mediterranean cuisine will meet culinary excellence as chefs blend tradition with innovation
