The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has announced multiple-entry tourist visas for Kuwaiti nationals, as per a report by Arabic-daily Al-Qabas.
The announcement was made by Dr. Adarsh Swaika, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait.
Under this new visa arrangement, Kuwaiti visitors are granted the privilege to travel to India multiple times within a span of six months.
This unique provision also encourages citizens to explore other nations within South Asia and subsequently re-enter India on multiple occasions throughout the visa’s validity period.
Highlighting the comprehensive range of visa options, Dr. Swaika emphasised the embassy’s commitment to serving various purposes, including tourism, business ventures, educational pursuits, and employment opportunities.
This further ensures that every traveller’s specific requirements are met effectively.
Prospective travellers are advised to initiate their visa application process through the embassy’s online platform.
Following the submission of essential documents, payment of the fees can be made at any of the embassy’s consular services and visa centres, which are conveniently located across three different areas within Kuwait.

The ambassador also said that in the initial eight months of the current year, approximately 5,000 visas have been issued, underscoring the substantial demand for Indian visas.
This follows a total of 6,000 tourist visas granted in the previous year, showcasing the growing interest among Kuwaiti nationals to explore the diverse offerings of India.
