All residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are allowed to perform Umrah on an electronic visit visa to the kingdom, regardless of any specific profession.

The announcement was made by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah.

Al-Rabiah added that all GCC expats, along with their first-degree relatives can visit Makkah and Madinah to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque, provided they have a three-month valid Gulf residency permit and six-month valid passport.

He also added that groups of GCC residents can apply for online visit visas to perform Umrah through the Saudi Rouh platform, with a fee of SR300 plus a medical insurance fee.

They can have single and multiple entry visas to perform the pilgrimage, pray in the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque, as well as to visit all cities across the Kingdom, including historical sites, in addition to attending tourist activities.
