Dubai’s Marhaba adds Singapore to global airport lounge network

Dnata unit announces expansion of its portfolio with the launch of an airport lounge in Singapore

Marhaba, part of Dubai-based Dnata, has announced an expansion of its global network with the launch of an airport lounge in Singapore.

In addition to its facilities in Dubai, Melbourne, and Karachi, Marhaba now operates in Terminal 3 at Changi Airport.

The newest Marhaba lounge features seating for over 130 guests, a quiet zone for relaxation, and shower facilities. It is open 24 hours a day and offers superfast Wi-Fi and all-day dining and is run by a team of 40 staff, who speak a total of six languages.

Passengers wishing to use the Marhaba lounge can make online bookings from S$55.

Dirk Goovaerts, regional CEO for Asia Pacific, Dnata, said: “Today’s passengers expect a seamless travel experience and we are passionate about supporting our airline customers in delivering this, by providing quality and reliable ground handling and catering services at some of the world’s busiest hubs.

“Our dedicated team looks forward to welcoming all passengers departing or transiting in Singapore to our brand new Marhaba lounge.”

Changi Airport is the world’s seventh busiest airport for international traffic, managing over 65 million passenger movements in 2018. With over 100 airlines providing connectivity to 400 cities worldwide, the airport handles about 7,400 flights every week.

Established in 1991, Marhaba operates 12 departure airport lounges in five countries – the UAE, Singapore, Switzerland, Pakistan and Australia.
