Having recently announced the closure of The Experience, Reif Othman has now officially left Play Restaurant & Lounge, Caterer Middle East reports.
Prior to launching Play at Dubai’s H Hotel in January 2016, Othman was the regional executive chef of Zuma Restaurants for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul, and also oversaw Miami and Hong Kong operations.
The chef who currently occupies the top chef spot on Caterer’s Chef Power List will join the Billionaire Life group as executive chef and business partner.
Speaking exclusively to Caterer Middle East, Othman said: “I am very grateful to the whole team at Play and look forward to this new challenge.”
