Property developer Seven Tides is set to build a three-tower project in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers, which will include a four-star hotel.
The company’s CEO Abdulla Bin Sulayem revealed in an interview with Hotelier Middle East that Seven Tides will manage the property itself and is close to announcing a contractor for the project.
The company currently owns four hotels in the region: Dukes Dubai; Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort; Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate and Avani Hotel in Deira.
With the latter three, the management contracts to operate those properties have been given to Minor Hotels. Seven Tides currently operates the Dukes Dubai hotel, as well as the Dukes London (which it also owns).
“The four-star hotel will be a part of a cluster of three towers, two of which will be residential. The hotel will be a new concept and brand and the target market will be a more casual-clientele,” Bin Sulayem told Hotelier.
The complex will also feature a retail area for residents and hotel guests.
Earlier this year, the Seven Tides started work on a a luxury resort on one of its ten islands in The World archipelago.
Having recently completed its hotel and property development portfolio, including the recently opened Dukes Hotel on The Palm Jumeirah, the company has started to develop a luxury resort on one of the South American islands, closest to the Dubai shoreline, CEO Abdulla Bin Sulayem told Arabian Business.
Bin Sulayem revealed that he is planning to build a low-rise, 60 villa luxury resort, including a signature restaurant, all-day dining venue, spa and water activities.
