Oman’s airports transported 4,901,796 passengers through the airports of Oman by the end of April 2024 reached 4,901,796.

Meanwhile, the total number of flights landing and departing from the airports of the Sultanate of Oman by the end of April 2024 reached 31,708, according to preliminary statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.

The number of passengers through Muscat International Airport by the end of April 2024 reached about 4,430,119, comprising an increase of 16.8 per cent, of which 4,097,728 were international passengers and 332,391 were domestic passengers.

The number of flights through Muscat International Airport by the end of April 2024 reached 32,520, of which 29,862 were international flights and 2,658 were domestic flights.

Indians topped the number of passengers through Muscat International Airport by the end of April 2024, with 89,206 passenger arrivals and 83,855 passenger departures, followed by Bangladeshi nationality with 12,829 incoming passengers and 20,597 departing passengers, and Pakistani nationality with 21,191 arriving passengers and 19,532 departing passengers.

The number of passengers through Salalah Airport reached 429,181, comprising an increase of 9.9 per cent, who travelled on board 3,122 flights, an increase in flights by 9.9 per cent.

The number of international flights through Salalah Airport reached 1,660, carrying 214,934 passengers, while the number of domestic flights reached 1,462, with 214,247 passengers on board.

The number of passengers through Sohar Airport reached 22,390 on 192 flights, while the number of passengers through Duqm Airport reached 20,106 on 208 flights.
