Flynas announces 6 new flight services to Central Asian destiantions

The expansion in the airline’s number of new air routes comes in line with the goal of attracting 100 million tourists annually to the Kingdom by 2030

Strategic Expansion: flynas Targets 165 Destinations

Saudi budget airline Flynas announced the launch of direct flights from Jeddah to Bishkek and Osh, in Kyrgyzstan.

The airline has also announced new direct flight services from the city of Almaty-Akbar, Kazakhstan, to Jeddah, in addition to increasing the number of flights between Jeddah and Tashkent, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Flynas said it will start direct flights from Osh, the second largest city of Kyrgyzstan, starting from August 20, this year, followed by flights from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on September 2 to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with three direct weekly flights to each city.

The new services will take the total number of weekly flights between the two cities to six. Flynas will also operate direct flights between Almaty and Jeddah with two direct flights per week, starting from September 2.

Flynas said based on the success of the launch of the route linking Tashkent with Jeddah on September 14, it intends to increase the number of direct flights between the two cities to three weekly flights starting from August 20.

Flynas strengthens air connectivity for tourism

The move on adding new flight services comes amid the close cooperation between the tourism and aviation systems in the Kingdom

The expansion in the airline’s number of new air routes also comes in line with the goal of attracting 100 million tourists annually to the Kingdom by 2030.

The decisions on the new routes follow the strategic cooperation between Flynas and the air link programme signed in April this year, which among other things, envisaged strengthening relations between it and the countries of Central Asia.

Since its launch in 2007, the airline has operated more than 1,500 weekly flights to more than 70 domestic and international destinations, flying more than 60 million passengers.

The airline aims to expand its reach further by reaching 165 domestic and international destinations.
