Dubai-based on-demand, pay-per-minute chauffeur service platform Zofeur is set to announce a partnership deal with Cars24, India-based used cars retail company, for providing logistics services to latter’s customers.
Zofeur has also struck a similar deal with Swapp, a Dubai-based rent-a-car service provider.
In the case of Cars24, the Dubai startup’s deal is with its Middle East arm, Cars24 Arabia.
Zofeur partners with Cars24 and Swapp
Zofeur is expected to make formal announcements on the two deals soon.
Bunty Monani, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Zofeur, confirmed to Arabian Business the deals with Cars24 and Swapp.
“These collaborations solidifies Zofeur’s role as the preferred mobility solution partner to the modern automotive landscape,” Monani said.
He also revealed that the two deals are part of a series of partnership projects Zofeur is currently working on for its ambitious expansion plans in the b2b automotive segment, where it entered late last year.
“Companies can save up to 40 percent cost on a per ride basis with Zofeur, compared to doing them in-house,” Monani said.
Monani also said the scale of services Zofeur can provide to its partner companies is unlimited.
Company sources said as per the deal with Cars24, drivers from the Zofeur platform will be available to bring cars from dealers and re-sellers to customers for test drive.
Every test ride booking is to be integrated into Zofeur’s platform, and a driver will be automatically allocated to provide this service.
“This collaboration [with Cars24] will revolutionize the used car buying experience, besides enabling scale for Cars24, making it more convenient and efficient than ever before,” Monani said.
The Zofeur platform will also provide drivers to pick cars from partner companies’ clients when they are due for service or repairs.
Monani said Zofeur’s technology-driven services provide a highly cost-effective and efficient solution that meets the needs of corporate clients in the automotive industry, as well as end customers.
He said Zofeur’s partnership with Swapp will transform the car rental experience by providing a seamless and efficient solution for customers in the UAE.
“With Zofeur’s advanced technology and skilled drivers, customers can have rental cars delivered right to their doorstep, eliminating the need to visit rental locations. This added level of convenience will improve customer experience, besides helping rent-a-car companies retain their customers,” Monani said.
Zofeur, known for its direct-to-consumer, on-demand drivers services available in under 20 minutes, anywhere in Dubai, announced foraying into the b2b segment last November, targeting businesses from gas station chains, major car rental and reseller companies, besides garages and workshops.
Partners who utilise its b2b platform will be able to provide free pick up and drop off services to its clients.
They also get free marketing on Zofeur’s mobile app to reach out to its thousands of customers.
While making the announcement on its b2b entry, the platform said it planned to target 10,000 automotive service partners across the region over the next quarter.
Cars24, which has a major presence in the UAE and the larger Middle East, has also entered the used bike segment in 2020.
Besides the UAE and India, the company’s operations now cover Australia also.
