Dubai traffic update: RTA announces delay due to emergency maintenance work

An Empower service line will be undergoing maintenance, leading to possible delays

Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an expected delay on Al Sarayat St starting today, June 12, due to emergency maintenance work for an Empower service line.

Motorists were alerted to drive carefully and follow the signs.

The alert was shared via Twitter, and the caption read “#ExpectedDelay on Al Sarayat St, starting today, Monday, June 12, due to emergency maintenance work for a service line belonging to Empower. Please drive carefully and follow the signs.”

On Monday, the Authority announced updates to the Dubai Metro to facilitate a smoother commute for people of determination.

The new advancements will include designated places, tactile paths, visual and audible warning at stations.
