Dubai International Airport (DXB) has been featured on the list of the top busiest global international routes by OAG Aviation. The city was featured on the list five times, three in the departing airport list and twice in the arriving airport list.
Other cities featured on the list include Cairo, Jeddah, Riyadh, London and Singapore.
Last week, it was announced that Dubai welcomed 23.7 million passengers in 2022, leading to a 89 percent increase from the previous year.
In December, Arabian Business reported that Dubai International (DXB) won the ‘Airport of the Year’ award at the Aviation Business Awards 2022.
DXB was chosen as the winner in the category based on its “unrivalled performance” over the past 12 months.
