A YouTube video has captured the moment an Emirates airline A380 battled severe winds at Birmingham airport this week to land at the UK airport.
In the video, the world’s largest airplane can been seen overcoming the crosswinds and severe rain to land when other aircraft had to abort.
The video shows a FlyBe Embraer and an Easyjet A320 abort landings and divert to alternative airports.
However, pilots on board the Emirates A380 arriving from Dubai, position the aircraft an angle to deal with the winds and gently land the giant superjumbo safely, creating an avalanche of reverse thrust spray as it does.
