Saudi’s flynas set to launch flights to Hyderabad

Low-cost carrier says to start service to Indian city on June 29

flynas, the national low-cost carrier of Saudi Arabia, has announced plans to launch direct flights to Hyderabad, India, as part of its global expansion plan in 2018.

Hyderabad flights are now available for booking via all flynas booking channels, with the first flight taking off on June 29, the carrier said in a statement.

flynas will operate two flights a week between Riyadh and Hyderabad every Thursday and Saturday, it added.

Complimentary meals for both Plus and Premium fares, as well as free luggage weight of 20-40kg will be offered on flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad.

Last month, flynas signed a $6.3 billion deal with DFM International to acquire new engines for its fleet.

Flynas’ agreement includes the acquiring of LEAP-1A engines to power the incoming fleet of 80 A320-neo aircraft ordered by flynas, scheduled to be delivered from 2018 onwards.
