The spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen has denied today reports that Houthi militias had recently launched a ballistic missile targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Calling all social media reports about the incident “untrue”, Colonel Turki Al Maliki said, “However, a failed attempt by Iran-backed Houthi militias to launch a ballistic missile that ended in an uninhabited desert was detected.”

Al Maliki also added that the Houthi militias have, via social media, confessed to routinely targeting civilians in blatant violations of international humanitarian laws against the practice.
