Shares of Persistent Systems jumped over 4 percent on Monday as the markets cheered the company’s announcement that it has entered a partnership with global giant Microsoft.
The Pune-based Engineering, Research and Development (ER&D) company ended the day 4.06 percent up at INR4,027.95 (AED178.76/$48.67) on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at the end of day’s trading.
On Monday, Persistent said it was further strengthening its ITES 360 relationship with Microsoft by leveraging its cutting-edge technologies to increase agility and power the next phase of its growth. Among the fastest-growing Digital Engineering firms, Persistent is investing in a modern tech stack from Microsoft that will cultivate a data-driven mindset and transform business operations.
Persistent will utilise the Microsoft Viva platform to enhance employee experience. Utilising the advanced analytics baked into the platform, the platform will transform the way Persistent understands and engages with its employees in real time.
In collaboration with Microsoft, Persistent is building an organisation-wide modern data fabric using market-leading Microsoft Azure cloud data lake offerings. The solution will drive reliability and speed across Persistent’s business functions and enable Machine Learning-based operational dashboards to visualise and optimise business outcomes.
IT services company has developed successful applications like the Patient Care NXT on Microsoft Cloud for the healthcare industry. This comprehensive patient care platform harnesses Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure to fulfill critical needs for providers, payers, pharmaceutical firms, and CROs. The company is hoping to optimise their technology investments with Microsoft in similar fashion.
