Globally leading accelerator Outlier Ventures announced its inaugural Web3 accelerator programme in Saudi Arabia.
The programme, titled ‘The FutureSpark Base Camp’, and supported by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), is dedicated to supporting startups driving technological innovation and growth.
It selected ten startups focusing on sectors including gaming, real world assets (RWA), payment solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital identity in its first cohort, the accelerator said.
The cohort comprises startups from countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the US, the UK, Portugal and The Marshall Islands.
“Collectively the founders are developing cutting-edge technologies across gaming, AI, payment solutions, RWA and digital identity, helping advance the Web3 ecosystem in the region and driving technological advancements across Saudi Arabia as part of Vision2030,” Outlier Ventures said.
Saudi Arabia-based Astra Nova, Oumla, Sorbet and Waslah, UAE-based Byzanlink and US-based Feed Protocol are among the startups in the first cohort.
The FutureSpark programme forms part of Outlier Ventures’ Base Camp accelerator programmes that focus on supporting founders globally helping them to accelerate their product market fit.
