Du has announced that it will offer weekly roaming plans for individual and business customers on short trips.
For AED 200, du data roaming bundle customers will receive 2.5GB of data, while 500 MB per day is also available for AED 35.
For those taking longer trips, AED500 will allow monthly allowance of 6GB. There is also a VIP package offering 15GB for AED 1,000.
“We want to enhance the way people travel and help our valued customers stay connected when they travel by providing them with data roaming,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, deputy CEO, telco solutions, EITC.
“Our goal is to continue adding life to life for our customers wherever they are, at home or abroad.”
“We wanted to offer a solution that is innovative, flexible and great value, so our customers relax and enjoy effortlessly,” he added.
Postpaid customers can SMS “data” to 5102 to view available data roaming bundles, while prepaid customers have roaming already active on their lines by default and have a quick recharge feature via www.du.ae/QR.
To activate data roaming, customers can dial *135*20# for free and follow the instructions on the menu.
