The UAE will announce petrol prices for November early next week after a fourth straight monthly increase in petrol and diesel costs during October.

Over the past year, prices have seen fluctuations but remain largely consistent with last year, with diesel being the exception as it has become notably more affordable.

In the UAE, petrol prices have experienced a substantial 25 percent rise throughout this year, with fluctuations in the cost of refuelling since January.

Starting from October 1, Special 95 petrol now stands at AED3.33 per litre, marking a significant 24.7 percent surge from the AED2.67 price recorded in January.

Across the year, variations in petrol prices have occurred in response to the shifting dynamics within the global energy market, impacting the rates at the pump.

Every month, the UAE Fuel Price Committee meet to determine whether prices will see an upward or downward adjustment.
