Prime Hydration – the sports drinks brand launched by influencers Logan Paul and KSI – is generating more money that Manchester United, just two years since its launch.
The figures are revealed in court documents filed by the company in a defamation lawsuit against the boxer Ryan Garica.
The documents state: “Prime is one of the fastest growing beverage brands in history, generating over $1.2 billion in revenue alone in 2023.”
By comparison, the last reported figures for Manchester United – for the year to June 30 2023 – showed revenues of $824 million. Latest figures shows that Prime is now making twice as much money as Arsenal, the club which Prime is a sponsor of. Arsenal generated $586 million of annual revenues in it’s last reported results.
In January 2022, Paul and KSI announced that they had jointly formed Prime Hydration, leading to a social media craze for the drink, which at one stage was selling for $500 a bottle on the black market.
On the company’s official website, various flavours of the drink are priced at $29.99 for pack of 12. Prime also sells a variety of hydration sticks and energy drinks.
Garcia, the suit claims, “decided to embark on a campaign of spreading lies about Prime, its hydration drink and one of Prime’s owners, Logan Paul.”
