American coffee and donut chain Dunkin’ opened 30 new stores in a single day in Saudi Arabia.

Dunkin’ has been present in the kingdom since 1986 and already has more than 500 outlets in Saudi Arabia.

Michael Haley, president and managing director of International, Inspire Brands, said: “It’s an exhilarating time to be the beverage and bakery leader in Saudi Arabia.

“We’re proud of our 37-year legacy in Saudi Arabia and are energised by the opportunity to bring the Dunkin’ brand to new guests in 30 new communities. Congratulations to the Shahia Food team on this record-breaking achievement.”

The record-breaking opening comes after 17 stores were opened in a single day in May of this year.
