Dubai-based Al-Futtaim has announced plans for a new 22,143 sq m expansion project at Cairo Festival City Mall.
The new area, called Festival Avenue, will bring a further 100 shops, including 60 retail stores which will offer numerous international and first to market brands, 20 new food and beverage outlets and two new entertainment concepts, the company said in a statement.
Festival Avenue will have about 1,000 parking spaces and a new to market 1,567 sq m food hall featuring outlets with both inside and outside terraces, it added.

Cairo Festival City Mall is also underpinned by a strong entertainment offering, including Bounce, the free-jumping playground, Magic Planet and Kidzania.
