Apparel brand Giordano expands in Gulf

New Giordano stores have been opened in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Global apparel brand Giordano has opened six new stores in the region, the company has announced.

The newly opened stores are located at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Ajman City Center in th UAE, as well as Riyadh Park, Villaggio Mall and Lulu Briman in Saudi Arabia and Al Khout Mall in Kuwait.

“Our customers have been the main focus of our new CIM (customers in mind stores,” said Giordano managing director Ishwar Chugani said. “Giordano embodies simplicity in design and quality in substance, and we have endeavoured to simplify and improve our customers’ shopping experience, enabling them to mix and match items and avail of excellent quality apparel at great value.”

In addition to the six new Giordano stores opened in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait this year, another 10 were upgraded and renovated.

“We are committed to bringing our brand closer to our customers located across the region,” Chugani said. “The substantial investments earmarked for this expansion programme stem from our confidence in the region’s current developments and future initiatives.”

Around the world, other Giordano stores have been opened in France, South Africa and Mongolia this year.

The company’s “World Without Strangers” now has more than 11 million members worldwide, including over 500,000 members in the Middle East.
