Dubai Duty Free on Thursday announced plans to celebrate its 34th year anniversary with a 25 percent discount both in store and online.
Dubai Duty Free will host a three-day sale, starting on December 18, on a wide range of products in what has become an annual pre-Christmas celebration.
The airport retailer said the 25 percent discount offer is available for all departing, transiting and arriving passengers at Dubai International Airport and at Al Maktoum International Airport, beginning at midnight on December 17 and ending at midnight on December 20.
Customers can also avail the discount offer online for three days through https://online.dubaidutyfree.com.
Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free said: “The Dubai Duty Free anniversary promotion is now a highly-anticipated event with many travelers choosing to travel on these days. There is a great carnival-like atmosphere throughout the retail operation over the three days and our team of staff do a terrific job throughout the busy period. This is our way of saying thank you to our customers who help us mark this anniversary.”
When Dubai Duty Free opened for business on 20th December 1983, the operation had 100 employees, 27 of whom are still in active service and are known as the ‘pioneers’. Today, the operation employs over 5,900 staff.
