The second edition of Saudi Arabia’s global real estate event – ‘Real Estate Future Forum’ – will open on Monday in the capital city of Riyadh.
More than 30 countries and 100 speakers, including decision makers who represent several local and international public and private sectors, are expected to participate in the three-day event.
The event will also see accompanying activities, such as an exhibition and the real estate hackathon.
Saudi minister of municipal, rural affairs and housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail said the forum will offer an opportunity to exchange regional and international experiences and viewpoints.
“It represents an intellectual platform, at the local and international levels, to discuss the sector’s present and future,” the minister said.
The minister said the forum also keeps pace with government trends in the real estate sector, and contributes to attracting foreign companies to invest in the kingdom’s real estate sector, in general, and the housing sector, in particular.
Al-Hogail said the huge success of the first edition of the forum posed a great challenge to this year’s event, as it needs to further enhance the success rate.
He said the forum also represented a good opportunity to present the country’s experience and government efforts in developing and sustaining the real estate sector, especially the residential sector.
The real estate sector, of late, has been emerging as a major sector, representing one of the national economy’s main pillars in Saudi Arabia.
