ROSHN launches vibrant makeover for Jeddah’s iconic waterfront destination

Saudi-based real estate developer Roshn Group launched a new initiative to renew the aesthetic view of the waterfront promenade in Jeddah, a major tourist spot which receives more than 55 million visitors annually.

The initiative envisages the facade walkway of the waterfront to dot exquisite artistic paintings by Saudi artists, celebrating the features of Jeddah city.

Besides, the walkway will also feature distinctive elements that represent the works of the Roshn Group.

The walkway is 3,200 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a total area of 16,000 square metres. More than 200 volunteers from the city are working on implementing the new design of the walkway.

The new look of the waterfront will be revealed to the public in early June.

The paintings and designs were selected on the basis of a competition launched by the Roshn Group.
