Emaar, the renowned property developer, in June revealed its latest extravagant venture, The Oasis, a $20 billion luxury waterfront development on the outskirts of Dubai.
Boasting 7,000 residential units, including lavish mansions and villas, the project promises future residents stunning vistas of canals, lakes, and parks.
The Oasis will be located in an area 18 minutes away from the Al Maktoum International Airport with Dubai Hills Estate, Dubai Hills Mall, Dubai Marina, Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Mall and downtown Dubai being in the same vicinity.
At an event held at Dubai’s Armani Hotel in June, Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar revealed that The Oasis will sprawl across a significant portion of land, featuring lakes, water canals, parks, jogging tracks, green spaces, and an array of luxury amenities.
“Our primary objective is to design one-of-a-kind destinations that complement our clients’ opulent way of life while providing unmatched comfort and luxury,” Alabbar said.
The unveiling ceremony for The Oasis also saw the presence of Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan, who spoke of Emaar’s commitment to consistently delivering exceptional urban marvels.
“Whenever Emaar presents us with an urban marvel, it immediately follows it with another new destination that is a masterpiece in and of itself, such as The Oasis by Emaar, which we are celebrating tonight,” Khan said.
The project includes an expansive 1.5 million square feet (sq. ft) retail area, showcasing a diverse selection of lifestyle brands to cater to all residents.
In addition to the retail space, The Oasis will boast an extensive dining scene, featuring various food and beverage outlets.

According to Emaar’s brochure for Palmiera at The Oasis, offers residents an idyllic escape from the city’s bustling attractions, this oasis promises a blend of nature and grandeur.
Located strategically close to major transportation routes, Palmiera at The Oasis provides easy access to Dubai. Routes include Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Road (D54) and the future extension of Al Khail Road (E44).
Spanning 100 million square feet, the villas at Palmiera at The Oasis by Emaar are designed with both 4 and 5-bedroom options.
Inside the villas, amenities are aplenty and include “the exclusive community center, where residents can enjoy a swimmable lagoon, multipurpose room, gymnasium, and wellness areas. These facilities offer high-quality spaces for relaxation, entertainment, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle,” the Emaar website reads.
The development also includes community parks, playgrounds, sports and fitness facilities, wellness and spa facilities, outdoor tracks for jogging and cycling, pools, beaches, mosques, and schools.
Prices for villas at Palmiera at The Oasis start at AED8.5 million.
