Mohamed Alabbar has officially launched a spectacular new $3.5 billion island project off the coast of Abu Dhabi, following the announcement revealed by Arabian Business last month.
Known as Ramhan Island, the destination will feature floating villas, luxury hotels, branded residences, a sand bar and more. The destination is being developed by the Emmar founder and Americana Chairman’s privately owned Eagle Hills development company.
According to information released by various brokers, there will be 1,800 standalone villas, 900 marina residences, 120 luxury hotel keys and 120 residence keys. The development will comprise 4 villa communities including Marine Island Villas, Cove Island Villas, Breeze Island Villas and Views Island Villas, surrounded by mangrove trees and scenic bays.

Ramhan Island features four distinct island communities; Marine Island Villas, Breeze Island Villas, Cove Island Villas and Views Island Villas. Each community is distinctive with its own array of unique features and offerings.
Waterfront villas start at three bedrooms and go all the way up to seven-bedroom offerings. Within the waterfront villas are eight different types, each varying in size, design and plot area. The eight waterfront villa types include The One – a three-bedroom penthouse, Bliss – a seven-bedroom villa, Grace – a four-bedroom villa and Spark – a five-bedroom villa.
