Explore the $1 trillion real estate developments at Cityscape Global 2023 in Riyadh

The projects will represent a staggering collective gross development value of over $1 trillion

Cityscape Global 2023, a global real estate meet which will be held for the first time in Saudi Arabia this year, will present a full spectrum of the world’s most ambitious ‘Giga project’ developments, representing a staggering collective GDV (gross development value) of over $1 trillion.

These pioneering projects, set to comprise some of the largest new city regions across the GCC, are expected to deliver a phenomenal 18 new cities, over 3.5 million new homes, and over 10 million sq m of commercial space, Cityscape Global said.

The projects will also offer some of the world’s leading cultural and leisure destinations, the likes of which have never been seen before, the event organiser said.

The global meet will be held in Riyadh in September.

Showcasing future world cities: Cityscape Global

Cityscape Global said the confirmed event partners include, Retal Urban Development, Osus Real Estate, Dar Wa Emaar, Thabat Construction, Berkeley London, Talaat Moustafa Group, Jeddah Central, Saudi Downtown, Althuraya, Shomoul, Al Akaria, Alaqtar, Rafal, Kianan, Qatari Diar, Umm Al Quara, Thakher Development and TAWAL.

The event is expected to attract over 180,000 industry professionals, investors and stakeholders. “Cityscape Global 2023 will serve as an unparalleled platform for both local and international developers to showcase their groundbreaking initiatives, exchange industry insights, and forge strategic partnerships that will deliver the leading world cities of the future,” the organisers said. The event will also connect institutional investors, sovereign wealth and private equity with the world’s most pioneering developments, cities and regions.

Alex Heuff, Cityscape Exhibitions Director, said: “To match the ambitions of our Giga project partners, we will be building a global real estate event to a size and scale that will have to be seen to be believed.”

The event, taking place on September 10-13 will feature six specific zones with their own unique content programmes, including the headline Future of Living Summit, as well as Property Portfolio Forum, Design and Architecture, Real Estate Institutional Investor Forum, The PropTech Stage and the Cityscape Innovation Challenge.
