Dubai records property deals to the tune of over $870 million on Tuesday

Dubai recorded property deals to the tune of over $870 million (AED3.2 billion) on Tuesday, reflecting the continuing boom in the city’s real estate market.

Tuesday’s deals included 650 sales transactions worth AED2.55 billion, 83 mortgage deals of AED578.62 million, and 40 gift deals amounting to AED64.04 million, according to data from Dubai’s Land Department (DLD).

The sales included 516 villas and apartments worth AED1.02 billion, and 134 land plots worth AED1.53 billion.

The mortgages included 66 villas and apartments worth AED119.84 million and 17 land plots valued at AED458.78 million.

The emirate’s real estate sector recorded $8.3 billion (AED30.41 billion) of transactions last month, making it one of the best months in terms of property deals.

According to MENA property portal Property Finder, there were 10,419 real estate transactions, recording a 17.78 percent increase in volume in June, compared to 8,846 in the corresponding month of 2022.
