As the Arabian Business Awards 2021 edge ever nearer a powerful lineup of speakers will grace the glittering evening and provide keen insight amidst the honours.
We’re delighted to announce our guest of honour will be Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Minister in charge of Talent Attraction and Retention, who will deliver a keynote speech, appropriately on the spot where the United Arab Emirates were founded – the Etihad Museum.
He will address business leaders from across the industrial and business world at our showpiece event on the evening of January 26 in what promises to be a fascinating evening of celebration.
The event will also hear from Simon Penney, Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Her Majesty’s Consul General Dubai, following a busy 2021 for the UK’s friendship with the UAE, including a $13.8 billion partnership between the two nations.
“The resurgence of trade in the Middle East is testament to the resilience and preparedness of the region’s businesses,” he said.
“I’m proud of the contribution that British companies and individuals have made in this regard, and I am certain that 2022 will bring even closer trade ties between the UK and this exciting region.
“I look forward to celebrating business success with them and the wider business community at this year’s Arabian Business awards.”
Completing the lineup of speakers is Jeff Haden, the international best-selling author of the book “The Motivation Myth: How High Achievers Really Set Themselves Up to Win.”
Jeff spent the first half of his career working in manufacturing, holding a variety of technical and leadership positions as he worked his way from entry-level shop floor employee to plant manager of a 1,000-employee facility. He leveraged that experience to become one of the most popular business writers in the world.
He’s a Contributing Editor for Inc. Magazine, where his columns are read by over 30 million people every year. And he’s ghostwritten more than sixty books, seven of which have hit the top position on a number of bestseller lists including Amazon, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
At our first industry ‘Oscars’, a host of honours are up for grabs with 10 industries being awarded, two winners from each category – with one recognising a contribution to five decades of success and one honouring the innovators of the future.
An editorial board from across ITP’s industry verticals and Arabian Business have handpicked finalists for these categories. To learn more about the full list click here.
