Farhana Bodi, DJ Bliss, Ebraheem Al Samadi to star alongside Kris Fade in Netflix’s Dubai Bling

Ten millionaires are set to star on the show, releasing on October 27

Farhana Bodi, a famous social media influencer with over 1.3 million followers, DJ Bliss, a well-known Emirati DJ, Ebraheem Al Samadi, owner of popular Forever Rose and Forever Rose Cafe and Kris Fade, 104.4 Virgin Radio’s biggest radio personality, are set to star in Netflix’s Dubai Bling, a source told Arabian Business.

The trailer teases the voices and half-revealed faces of the 10 personalities but their identities were not disclosed.

The show is set to follow these people’s lives, and describes the cast members as self-made millionaires who have built their businesses from the ground up.

The show will be, “Set against the backdrop of luxury cars, runway-fresh fashion, exotic resorts and exclusive access to the city’s most popular restaurants and late-night hotspots,” Netflix said in a statement.

The statement describes the show as an entry point to “behind the velvet rope to experience the glitz and glamour of life for the rich and famous in Dubai.” The show is classified as a high-value production docu-soap by the popular streaming site.

The show promises access to the daily lives of these well-known Dubai personalities “who are at the top of their fields,” the announcement explains, “from real estate, to entertainment, to socialites and influencers. From the enterprising businessman to the free-spirited who pursued their passion, the cast of Dubai Bling, built their empires from the ground up.”

While the cast has been kept a secret, Netflix has hinted to viewers that it the 10 personalities are predominantly Arab and include some well-known faces from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and Iraq as well as expats from India and Australia “who now call Dubai home.”

The shows announcement comes as a slew of reality TV shows begin airing in the UAE. The Real Housewives of Dubai, which focuses on six women and their lives in the city, began in June 2022.

Earlier this month, a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) committee has asked Netflix to remove certain content from its streaming platform, amid concerns some of it contradicts the region’s media laws.
