UAE-based firm Image Nation Abu Dhabi has begun production of a new cooking show in Saudi Arabia, which the company says marks the beginning of a significant expansion in the kingdom.

The show – entitled ‘No Kitchen Required’ will follow five prominent regional chefs as they learn to cook in the wildness, and will run on Quest Arabiya.

For the production, Image Nation has teamed up with Emmy-award winning producer Marc Lorber, who will also be working on an upcoming Quest Arabiya series on fishing.

“Quest Arabiya reaches millions of households in the Arab world and has a well-deserved reputation for offering the dynamic, adrenaline-fueled entertainment that regional audiences love,” Quest Arabiya general manager Khalid Khouri.

“No Kitchen required is the latest addition to our programming and reflects Quest Arabiya’s commitment to meeting the continued demand for world-class Arabic-language content.”

Image Nation’s production in the kingdom comes as the Saudi government has announced that it will invest $64 billion into the Saudi entertainment sector over the next 10 years.

Michael Garin, the CEO of Image Nation, said that “the growth of the entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia is exceptionally exciting and will be transformational for the region.”
