Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group has signed an agreement with Renov8 Polymer Industries Ltd. to establish an advanced recycling facility at KEZAD’s Polymers Park. The establishment of this facility will boost Abu Dhabi’s transition towards a circular economy.
Renov8 Polymer Industries Ltd. will invest AED552 million to establish the 30,000 square metre plot in KEZAD’s Polymer Park, alongside an expansion plot of 38,000 square metres for the recycling of mixed plastic waste.
This step supports the UAE net-zero by 2050 strategy.
