No impact on UAE from Iran quake, says NCMS

The NCMS said in a statement that there were ‘no quake jolts were reported across the UAE’

The NCMS said in a statement that there were "no quake jolts were reported across the UAE" following the quake that occured north east of Bander Abbas, Southern Iran, at 8.59 pm UAE time.

The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCMS) said there were no tremors in the country following a 2.1 magnitude quake in Iran. 

The NCMS said in a statement that there were “no quake jolts were reported across the UAE” following the quake that occurred north east of Bander Abbas, Southern Iran, at 8.59 pm UAE time. 

Residents in the country’s northern emirates reported hearing an “explosion”, but the NCMS said “what the people in the north of the country felt has nothing to do with this tremor”.
