Covid-19 is on the rise with the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announcing 597 new coronavirus positive cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the country to 910,935.
The MoHAP conducted 231,541 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours, stressing, in a statement, that it aims to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide.
According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.
The Ministry added that no Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, with the total number of deaths remaining unchanged at 2,305.
MoHAP also noted that an additional 452 individuals had fully recovered from coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 894,093.
Earlier in the week, the UAE had announced that it has achieved the targeted goal of the National Covid-19 Recovery Plan, reaching 100 percent of immunised and fully vaccinated targeted groups.
