With the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention announcing 867 new coronavirus positive cases across the country over the past 24 hours, Covid-19 is once again on the rise.
The MoHAP conducted 279,163 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours, it said in a statement carried by the state-run news agency WAM, stressing that it continues to expand the scope of testing nationwide.
MoHAP also that there no Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, leaving the death toll unchanged at 2,305.
MoHAP also noted that an additional 637 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 895,736.
