Coronavirus positive cases cross the 1,000 mark across the UAE

UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1,031 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the highest number of daily cases recorded in the past few months.

This brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 913,984.

There were no Covid-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours, leaving the death toll at 2,305, the ministry said in a statement carried by the state news agency WAM.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 712 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 896,448.
