Saudi Aramco has awarded Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) a contract for up to five years covering existing and new infrastructure projects.

Dar Al-Handasah, which is the founding company of the Dar group, said that under this contract, it will provide consultancy services including engineering, design, and project management.

Dar chairman and CEO, Talal Shair, said: “Dar has been, and continues to be, fully committed to supporting the kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ability to fulfil its Vision 2030… We take pride in that this new contract represents our ability to consolidate our reputation of delivering projects in line with clients’ needs and expectations.”

The award is the latest development in a long-standing partnership between the Dar group and Saudi Aramco that has spanned decades and yielded over 25 large-scale projects.

Through the latest general engineering and project management services infrastructure (GESi) contract, Dar said it looks forward to enhancing and solidifying this relationship with Saudi Aramco.

Dar Saudi Arabia employs around 3,000 people, over 1,000 of whom are Saudi nationals. The company maintains six core offices spread across Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Khafji, Makkah, and Madinah.
