A student at Brighton College Al Ain received the highest Arabic GCSE in the world.
Mohammed Al-Qawasme from Jordan said his biggest inspiration to excel in his studies in his mother, who has a PhD in education.
He said he achieved the high grade due to being “completely systematic” in his exams.
“I always allow myself much longer than others to check and double check every single detail of each answer,” he said.
Dr. Ken Greig, head master of Brighton College Al Ain said Mohammed’s accomplishment is testament to his hard work and the support of his teachers at Brighton College.
“We are immensely proud of him and look-forward to continuing to support his educational journey throughout his A-Levels,” he said.
Mohammed joined Brighton College Al Ain in its opening year and is currently studying physics, chemistry and biology at A-Level. His wants to major in medicine and become a surgeon.
