The Luxe Developers has contracted China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) as the main contractor for Oceano, its AED1.5 billion ($410 million) development at Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
Oceano will feature two 21,000 square feet sky villas – The Celest and The Stellar. Priced at AED90 million ($24.5 million) each, they will be the most expensive residences in RAK.
The Beijing-headquartered China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is the largest construction company in the world by revenue. It will be responsible for main works construction, completion and maintenance.
SS Lootah Foundations have completed all enabling works, including shoring, piling and excavation.
Oceano has 18 floors, comprising 206 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. It also has six penthouses, apart from the two sky villas.
Shubam Aggarwal, Chairman and Co-owner of The Luxe Developers, commented: “China State Construction is an established company with a solid reputation and a wealth of experience of working on prestigious projects in the UAE and globally. Their expertise will be invaluable in delivering our vision of Oceano and ensuring it meets the criteria of our ultra-high-net-worth clientele.”
Tian Sanchuan, President of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) added: “We are honoured to be appointed as the main contractor for The Luxe Developers’ Oceano project. This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering excellence and innovation in all our endeavour.
“We look forward to leveraging our extensive experience and expertise to bring this visionary development to life, ensuring it meets the highest standards for our client.”
Oceano is located on a corner plot on Al Marjan Island and spreads across a built-up area (BUA) of 79,000 square metres. It will feature an infinity pool, with views of the Arabian Sea, connecting the twin-tower development.
The development features a range of design attributes, such as free-flowing glass facades and minimalist frames. Each floor rotates on different planes, ensuring every resident enjoys a unique and uninterrupted panoramic view of the Arabian Gulf.
