The winners and highly commended for the 15th edition of the Facilities Management Middle East (FMME) Awards were revealed on 16 June 2022. The awards ceremony, which was held in Dubai, at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre, Al Garhoud, celebrated its 15th anniversary last night.
Emrill Services won the Overall FM Company of the Year award, with Ejadah taking home the Highly Commended plaque.
UAE-based Emrill has taken its learnings from the past two years and continued to focus on creating a culture of interconnected. To meet the dynamic challenges of delivering world-class facilities management (FM) services, Emrill has invested in its people, developed and adopted new technology as well as reimagined service delivery using a customer-centric and results oriented approach, the company states.
The Highly Commended FM firm Ejadah became the first FM brainchild of the Dubai Holding Group in 2005. Today, Ejadah consists of three operating verticals that span all segments of the FM cycle: Idama (facilities management), Arkan (security management) and Shabaka (unit services). In addition, Ejadah positioned itself on a forefront of the facilities management industry specialising in both simple and complex projects across the Middle East.
In his speech via video link, the FM Middle East editor Rajiv Pillai said: “No matter what obstacles or disruptions the industry faces, it always adapts. Besides the tight margins and stiff competition, the pandemic was the biggest obstacle the industry ever faced and we all saw FM firms come up with innovative solutions to offer its services. The show went on, with heroes working behind the screen ensuring normal day-to-day activities were uninterrupted.”
The 15th anniversary of the Facilities Management Middle East Awards also saw the launch of a limited-edition coffee table book called FM Visionaries, which was released on the award’s night.
The Facilities Management Middle East Awards 2022 had a total of 17 categories, namely Young Facilities Manager of the Year, Unsung Hero of the Year, Facilities Manager of the Year, FM Executive of the Year, Cleaning Company of the Year, FM Consultancy of the Year, Sanitation & Waste Management Company of the Year, Security Company of the Year, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Education & Development Initiative of the Year, Technology Implementation of the Year, Health And Safety Initiative of the Year, Overall FM Company of the Year, Property Management Company of the Year, Engineering Service of the Year, FM Mobilisation of the Year and Supplier of the Year.
