Developer Reportage starts construction of first project outside the UAE

Montenapoleone project in New Cairo will include 5,500 homes, handover expected by Q4 2025

Montenapoleone will be built on an area of ​​465,000 square metres, and will include 5,500 homes.

UAE-based developer Reportage Properties has announced the start of construction work on its Montenapoleone project in New Cairo, Egypt, its first outside of its home market.

The project was launched in mid-2021 and will be developed in cooperation with Al-Ahly Sabbour, the Egyptian real estate developer.

Montenapoleone will be built on an area of ​​465,000 square metres, and will include 5,500 homes. Units are expected to be handed over by the fourth quarter of 2025.

Islam Ahmed Suleiman, CEO, Reportage Properties, said the start of construction work reflected the company’s “commitment to build projects on schedule”.

The announcement follows the company’s 2021 sales of nearly AED1.6 billion, up from AED812 million during 2020.

The Diva project will add hundreds of homes to Yas Island.

Suleiman added that investing in the Egyptian market reflects confidence in the real estate sector in Egypt.

Reportage Properties is developing 12 projects in the UAE, providing about 6,000 homes across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

New projects recently launched include the Diva project on Yas Island, which will provide 736 new homes, as well as Al Maryah Vista 2, which will provide 588 units on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
