Arabtec Holding has won a 1.08 billion dirham ($294.1 million) contract to build a hotel on Dubai’s Shaikh Zayed Road, in a joint venture with Dubai Contracting Co.
Work includes a main hotel building consisting of 4 basement levels, ground and mezzanine floors and 51 storeys, as well as a multi-storey car park building.
The total value of the contract amounts to Dh 1,076 billion, Arabtec said.
Arabtec MD Riad Kamal said “The participation of Arabtec with DCC in this joint venture follows on the successful joint venture track record when the joint venture previously constructed the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai.”
