A new seafront development in Dubai Maritime City, which broke ground in late 2014, is set to be handed over next year, its developer Omniyat has announced.
Anwa by Omniyat is the first residential project at Dubai Maritime City and expects to welcome homeowners in the second quarter of 2020.
At the time of its construction launch, the AED600 million Anwa by Omniyat plans to offer 223 units, all with sea views and also featuring 8,133 sq ft of retail area as well as landscaped gardens, gymnasium, infinity pool, kids pool and play area and barbeque area.
The project’s progress has been revealed as Dubai with plans to integrate the ongoing developments at Dubai Maritime City (DMC) and Mina Rashid.
The 248-hectare DMC is designed to deliver a dynamic urban lifestyle for waterside living and community, while the commercial port Mina Rashid is poised to become a contemporary waterfront destination catering to the needs of superyacht owners and operators, watersport and sailing enthusiasts, beach lovers, and tourists from all over the world.

The project is part of ambitious plans in Dubai Maritime City which include a number of mixed-use projects, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and parks.
