The value of gold reserves of the Central Bank of the UAE reached AED19.615bn ($5.3bn) by the end of March 2024.
This marks a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 12.6 per cent from AED17.41bn ($4.7bn) in March 2023.
The apex bank, in its latest figures, showed that gold reserves increased by 9.8 per cent percent on a monthly basis from AED17.86bn ($4.9bn) in February 2024.

The United Arab Emirate’s gold reserves have significantly grown over the past years from AED4.044bn ($1.1bn) at the end of 2019, and AED1.134bn ($308m) in 2018.
