Astra Tech, the leading consumer technology group in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, announced the launch of Botim Payroll, which the company claimed is the UAE’s first fully digital payroll management system.
Botim’s new system will enable real-time payroll management, while complying with the country’s Wage Protection System (WPS), the company said.
The solution offers an integrated payroll management approach to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining processes, it said.
Astra Tech said its new payroll management solution aims to enhance employer operations with a comprehensive suite of financial management tools, including a dedicated business wallet with an independent International Bank Account Number (IBAN) to separate payroll funding from day-to-day operations.
The new product will be provided to over 557,000 SMEs in the UAE, which contribute 63.5 percent of non-oil GDP and represent over 90 percent of businesses in the country, the company said.
