UAE weather forecasters expect rain to fall in the country this weekend

UAE weather forecasters are predicting rain to fall in parts of the country this weekend.

Despite rising temperatures, which could reach as high as 47 degrees in the coming days, rains are expected on Saturday and Sunday.

The National Centre of Meteorology has also suggested there could be gusting winds of up to 40kmph blowing sand and dust in the UAE.

Thursday June 6: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, and clouds will appear Eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Friday morning over some coastal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10-20 kmph reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Friday June 7: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, and clouds will appear Eastward might be convective by afternoon. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10-20 kmph reaching 35kmph.The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday June 8: Fair to partly cloudy at times, with a chance of convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon maybe accompanied with rainfall. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15-25kmph reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Sunday June 9: Fair to partly cloudy at times, with a chance of convective clouds formation Eastward and Southward by afternoon maybe accompanied with rainfall. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15-25kmph  reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
