UAE declares four-day holiday for Eid Al Adha

The holidays will be from August 10 to August 13

The UAE’s Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has declared a four-day private and public sector holiday for Eid Al Adha.

Eid Al Adha will officially begin on the 9th of the Zul Hiijah and last until the Zul Hijjah 12.

For private and public sector employees, this mean that holidays will be from Saturday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 13.

Earlier this year, UAE authorities announced the public and private sectors will have the same number of holidays.

In Saudi Arabia, the Supreme Court announced that Sunday, August 11, will be the first of Eid Al Adha.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Dhu Al Hijja moon was sighted on Thursday and verified by regional courts and witnesses in various parts of the country.

Earlier, Oman has announced that Monday August 12 will be the first day of Eid Al Adha.
