Dubai Civil Defence has brought a fire that broke out at one of the pavilions in Global Village under control.
The fire authorities were quick to respond to the blaze – arriving within nine minutes of receiving the first emergency call – which broke out at the Chinese Pavilion in Global Village.
Dubai Media Office reported that firefighters are currently at the scene, starting cooling operations. No injuries have been reported.
The popular venue is currently in off-season, with the most recent drawing to a close on April 7.
It’s the second fire at Global Village in six months. In December, a blaze broke out at the Yemen pavilion.
